~ The Amani Campsite ~

The Amani campsite is a private campsite with exclusive use for one group at a time. Located within 50 metres of the lake shore the campsite benefits from an abundance of wildlife and birdlife in particular. The mowed lawn meanders through the ancient Acacia trees making a charming site to pitch your tents and gather around a roaring camp fire in the evening. The shower block has 4 separate bathrooms with hot, running water and flushing loos. There is also a small kitchenette and wash basin. There is a full-time guard here to warn you if any dangerous animals come too close, such as hippos coming out of the lake at night, and to help you with the camp fire etc.
